Hello,


Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported including logs? To report a bug into our system it is necessary to have reliable steps to reproduce in order for programmers to fix it.

When exiting the game all of my memory goes to max usage and game freezes

I have an issue like this.


When I exit the game from the main menu my machine becomes unresponsive for upto 5 minutes and my hard drive goes crazy at maximum usage, I can ctrl+alt+del and go into task manager (which takes a couple of mins to actually pop up) and see clearly that space engineers is the culprit hogging all my read write and making my hard drive do back flips. I am also unable to end program of SE in the task manager at this point, it says I am not authorized.


This doesn't happen if instead of exiting the game normally, I simply force close it either via steam overlay or task manager.

Hello engineers.

I got a similar problem after patching the game to v1.194.207.

My game is freezing when I leave my savegame via "Exit to main menu" with saving the game. When I exit my savegame without saving the game runs fine. Normal game saving works.

Hello, Engineers!

As it is quite long time from original issue submit as well as last comment, let me first please ask whether you are still experiencing it or it was fixed in the meantime.

I can exit game flawlessly as of current version (v197.170). If you are still having this problem, can you share new logs, please? As well as if steps to reproduce change by any chance.
