Escort contract waypoint deletes during server restart

I accepted an escort contract at an NPC station orbiting the moon. Right after accepting before I could get to my ship and go to the start point. A server restart was announced for 10 min. The contract had a duration of 16 min so I decided to wait out the restart so I was not in the middle of the contract when the server restarted but I am not totally loaded in and get pummeled by drones when I can't do anything. That is a problem that needs fixing too. So after the restart I had like 8 min left on the duration but the waypoint was gone. I went to about where I remember it was but the ship did not spawn in. The time ran out and my rep went down by 10.

Um, I pretty much outlined what I did above. However, here it is in bulletin format:

1. Accept escort contract right before a server restart or force one if you have that ability.

2. Do not go to the waypoint to start the contract until after the restart.

3. After the restart, notice the waypoint is gone and if you go to where you think it was, the ship to escort does not appear.

as I can see, this thread is rather old now. Is it still happening to you?

Can you confirm or disprove it, please?

If yes... does the behavior changed anyhow through out the time? Or is it still the very same?
