Error in Blueprint screen causes save bug
There is a compound error via the blueprint screen. The first is that I cannot under any circumstances enter the blueprint screen without error. Upon either creating a blueprint or entering the screen via F10, the game will cease to save. Upon exiting the blueprint screen I will save the game, however no on screen text displays that the game is saved. When I try to save the game again the game will state "Error game is already saving". The second bug is that none of the blueprints work. I can create a blueprint easily however when trying to copy to clipboard or to load onto the projector the blueprint is indefinitely loading and states " The blueprint is being loaded". The blueprint in question is always a small grid with under 300 blocks and 0.8MB. Since I have encountered no other bugs in the game I am assuming they are connected.
Hello, Duke,
thanks for sharing your issue with us and sorry that you are experiencing it. However, none of the issues you are writing about seems to happen to me when tried. Entering the BP menu, as well as operating with blueprints (pasting it directly from the menu or loading it into the projector) works fine for me. As well no error with saving was observed - I got proper message "World *** saved" and I can load and exit the game (with or without saving) properly.
Are you still experiencing it, or was it just one time thing? Does it happen to you on multiple worlds or is this error present just on one world? Since you are speaking about saving the game normally through the Save button, I take it you are playing single player. Can you confirm?
Can you please share the save of the affected world so I can check it on my own? Also sharing the BP that are not working for you would be nice.
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
Kind Regards
