Dropping through surface on Triton

Jakob Weinert shared this bug 4 years ago
Solved

Hi,

I encountered a possible bug when playing on the new planet Triton.

I suddenly were below the planets surface.

Attached there are some pictures of what it looked like.

Unfortunately, I couldn't use the jetpack to fly back out because the surface blocket me, however I saw everything what was above me.

I encountered this bug twice, the first time when I jumped of a few armor blocks I simply dropped through the surface. The second time I started digging near my base and dropped through the ground again.

Respawning got me out of the situation but only because I respawned on the rover.

Below the planets surface I was able to move freely.

Please contact me if this issue has to do anything with my world settings, however I never encountered this issue before.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce your issue. Can you please provide us with more information and a save of your world? Do you use any mods?

Thank you!

I use a few mods but none of them is world related. They are for weapons, wheels and some blocks like shields and cloak.

I don't know where to find the save of the world but if you tell me I'll be sure to send it.

However I just found a similar issue: https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/general/topic/pass-through-terrain

It fits with what I encountered as I was mining ice as well.

Sorry for not writing earlier.

I just wanted to say that the issue is fixed since the Hotfix. So the ticket can be closed.

Thanks for the fast help though
