Drills stop minning after a few meters deep in the mountain
Solved
I started a new save after not playing for a while on the Aline Planet using the FSTC_Atmospheric_miner_mk2, it works well but once I reach a few meters deep in the mountain, it does the drilling animation but it's not mining anything. If i fly back and start mining somehere else, it works again until i reach a few meters deep again. It's like if the mountain becomes rock solid after a few meters deep and is not minable. It is only minable if i use the hand drill, it's not working with the Ship drills. I have all DLCs and it's the Vanilla game, No mods
Hello, Soemfae,
thanks for contacting us with your concern. However, when I did test it, I´ve seen no problem. I dug really deep on multiple places on the planet with no issues.
Can I please have your save file, so I can take a look on exactly your environment, please?
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
Thanks in advance for providing those.
Kind Regards
