Drilling is slow/lagy since last update

Ever since the last update small ship drilling/mining is very slow with right click. i hold right click and several seconds go by before it actually takes a chunk out and so on. i drilled out a room (9Hx11Wx15L large grid) before the update in a couple minutes but now to takes at least twice that long.
