Displayed Ping is incorrect

Solved

On the server list, the ping is totally acceptable for most of the EU servers, around 60 or so. But in-game it is always around 130-160 and sadly it behaves just like 130-160. Rubberbanding and being teleported all around. Can you fix it?

Noticed the same. The server I am playing on says my Ping is 160

but pinging it manually and checking the steam server list gives me 40 as ping. is there a good explaination for that?

I mean I get a "Poor Network Quality" warning all the time with the hint to check my network but in terms of speed and what not my network seems to be okay. Just the displayed ping ingame seems wrong.

I do experience network lag. For example going through a door and being dragged back, because I did not go through it according to the server. Such things kill the game for me.

I have noticed this too, not to any major extremes, but the server I play on is very local... almost in the same area code. And on the list I regularly have a ping of 30 or so, but in game it's rarely lower than 100. What's up with the disparity there? Maybe get some honest ping calculations going on?

The sad part is that the closest Server to Hungary is in Poland, which is around 900kms away, and still the French server has lower ping, which is 2000kms away... Can't we have a stronger server in Poland or a server in Mid-Eastern EU? If not, I'm gonna host it myself from 2019.

Same for me, real ping of 18, shown as 100 ingame. Rubberbanding all over the place.
