Disappearing tools
Not a Bug
Hi,
I'm the same girl who wrote about my bf's and my tools going missing. I just got back after 30 minutes of brunch,
did not get disconnect
did not disconnect manually
did not go into a cryogenic
And my 2nd Elite Welder is gone ..... again..
Please look into it... It's...really getting frustrating...

I have the same bug
Just cheat them with alt+F10 to Enable creative mode tools and then shift+F10. It sucks but still should take over your lost. Don't cheat too much because this is the main reason why somebody stops playing a game.

This isnt a bug ... After 15-20 minuites your suit ran out of power and therefore had no life support. You died.
When you die, you respawn in game, and your inventory (including tools) are on your old body. Your old body is still in-game as a backpack and marked with gps marker "body location" for a short time.
When you are going offline or even AFK if is important to make sure you have life support, both oxygen and power.

Thank you for your contacting us, but this feature currently works as intended. As @Jitar wrote, after a certain time, your suit will run out of power and you will die. You will respawn with a new backpack but your items and tools are stored in the old backpack which is marked with a gps "body location" for a short time.
