Crashed ships/grids continue rotating and flipping on the terrain causing severe sim speed slowdown

As the description states, when a ship/grid crashes to the ground it somtimes will never come to rest and continues flipping end over end in the exact same spot endlessly until manually removed with the cleanup tool. I have seen it happen only on uneven terrain/slopes. This 'physics' problem causes severe slowdowns/freezes until the entity is removed from the world. I have seen this occur on numerous occasions and it is really annoying. Grids that are at rest do not have any adverse effect on the game sim speed that I have noticed but just one of these 'flipping' grids is all it takes to make the game unplayable.

I would like to add what I think is a similar physics issue but it occurred in a different manor. Let me describe. While playing and doing nothing in particular, flight testing a small grid I think. Of course as you move around the world and explore NPC begin to spawn in. Well so I suddenly experience a drastic slowdown in sim speed. Made no sense because I had no interacted with any NPCs. Eventually I discovered that one NPC large grid was 'stuck' in the atmosphere. Usually when looking at grids with the clean up tool you can see the ship parts rotating and moving about and the ship moving thru the atmosphere but this one had no movement whatsoever. It was just frozen in the sky. It was pretty weird. Anyway, I removed it from the world and sim speed immediately returned to normal. I'm still playing the same world where both instances occurred but I have now idea how to offer any evidence other video or images, which I will try to do when it happens again.

OMG!!! Please fix this bug. Why cant crashed grids just be automatically turned into station so they stop moving? Tired of the game screeching to a halt because of the ships flopping all over the place after they hit the voxels!!

We have had this same issue after the last update. Last night with no one on the server multiple rovers in different locations started flipping end over end thrashing and destroying themselves. We know this cause the left overs were still flipping end over end this morning when we logged on. This is a serious issue that needs addressed.

Since the last several updates this no longer seems to be an issue... whether intentional or not it seems to be fixed.
