Crash to desktop loading a game or starting a new game
Won't Fix
Hi,
Just started playing and have enjoyed the game so far. Went on travel for work and tried playing form my laptop and i get a crash to desktop loading a game or starting a new game. The game launches fine and i can select play options. I click start and after a minute or two of load screen it crashes to desktop.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, then verified the game files through steam. Log file attached. What do i need to do to resolve this issue?

Thank you for contacting us. Can you please send us logs? You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

as this thread is rather old now, can I please ask if you are still experiencing nowadays (v198)?
Can you please confirm or disprove that you are still experiencing it? It is likely that this issue was fixed in the meantime with various games updates and fixes.
