Constant Crashing.

Won't Fix

Hello.

This game ran great on my machine in medium to high graphics even while watching a show on a second screen (40 - 60%). now all of a sudden in low graphics with a single screen plugged in running in lowest possible settings it is pushing my card to 100% when it does run.

typically the game is crashing in the main menu before I even load my save. I have monitored the gpu in a second screen to see what its like when it crashes. 12 - 20% of its capabilities and 30 odd degrees.

it is giving me a "graphics drivers crashed" saying that my card is not working properly, drivers are out of date, is overheating or I need to remove any over clocking.

none of that is true.

I have reduced the load

there is no over clocking

the card is nowhere near overheating

I can run any other game without issue.

I have manually updated drivers from a direct download from intel

I have removed and reinstalled space engineers

I even tried to remove the video files from the menu to see if it was an issue with that

I removed all of my saved games and started a new one with reduced to 5km draw and 16 floating objects

I also always play in vanilla solo

I have submitted every single crash report

I have reached out on steam

I have reached out to the support email

and now im here.

Hello, Chad!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. There have been a few threads of this happening for other users currently but just to see the source of your issue, can you please supply a copy of your log when this happens?

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Kind Regards

Hello.

I had a similar issue on GTX 1070 a couple years ago, not only with this game but with everythingh.

It started after a driver update, so i downloaded and installed an older driver version.

It worked without an issue after that.

I sugest you try the same.

Hello, Engineer!

Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.

If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.

Thank you for understanding.
