Connector Bug Causing Ships To Stop Working as if they Become a Static Grid

I have recently discovered a bug in multiplayer which causes large ships and small ships to become unusable after disconnecting from another ship or stations connector. It doesn’t always happen when a small ship is connected to a larger ship. But it’s easily replicated on my server when disconnecting from a station.


I think The game is having issues with ships being connected primarily to station blocks. For example if I doc a small ship to a station (static grid) and after a couple minutes try to unlock from it. It’s as if the small ship becomes a static grid as well.


I discovered however. If I have a large docked to the station Then doc the small ship on another port on the large ship. The problem still happens as if it’s become part of the stations static grid.


But what’s interesting is that if you disconnect the large ship and then disconnect the small ship from the large ship in that order. It disconnects the small ship just fine.


I believe the connector bug that keeps coming back may be related to static grids. Its as if ships connected to static grid connectors are turning Into static grids and not turning back when the connector disconnects.
