Won't Fix

The last few times I've disconnected a small ship from a large ship via connector all the engines on the small ship turn off.... I've lost four ships to this bug

Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback. We would need more info in order to reproduce the bug. Was it in single player? Can you attach a world where it is happening?

Thank you very much and have a nice day :-)

I'm still trying to decide if it's a bug or if I did something wrong i.e. turned off inertia dampers. It's only happened in single player and only with a small ship on a large ship on a planet. It has not happened with a station.

I have similar experiences.

I have made small ship battery packs whit 2 connectors. One on each side.

My thougt was to work with one pack while charging the other on my base and switch if i need.

I loost several battarypacks and damaged my ship because it switched off if i connect to it.

I run a multiple server and I have had people complain they have had this bug on 3 occasions in the last few days. The only way to fix it has been to cut and paste the ship back in.

Hello, Engineers!

As this thread is quite old, as well as the last comments, can I please ask whether you are still experiencing it even nowadays?

If yes, can any of you provide save file or BP of the ships/objects that are proven to has this issue, please?

Thanks in advance for any more info you can provide.

Kind Regards

Hello, Engineers!

Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.

If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards
