Connected ship falls of the connectors when game is loaded

Hey Guys,

I Just reproduced this in another save game.

When the Connector is on a Piston and the game is (re)loaded , one of the ships falls to its death.

Do something, save it and load it again, the next ship falls to its death


However , with a normal connector , e.g. on conveyor tubes, i couldn't reproduce it yet.

it doesn't matter whether the connector is on a piston. when the server loads back in, all connectors disconnect. i've recreated this multiple times in my own DS. i've told people to use landing gears since they stay in place.


as well, if you fly a ship while something is connected, the connection freaks out and causes major collisions. once again, using landing gears alleviates this.

Same here. Ships connected to a Station fall off when i load the World. On the other Hand the Rover which is connected through a Piston of the Station doesn't but the Drones on the back of the Rover do. Strange.

Hello,

we already have a ticket for the issue. We are currently looking into it, trying to find out what went wrong.

We would still appreciate any additional information or affected worlds to fix and test as much different cases around connectors as possible.

Same issue here. The link leads to a world where it persistently happens. Both cases are present in there: connector on rotor as well as connector on a regular grid. Copying the craft into a new world produces the very same results.


Batteries are not set to reload.


It's not vanilla, but the mods in there only change some settings of vanilla blocks (more crash resistance for wheels and rotors + more torque for rotors). Nothing fundamental or connector related. I also tried removing the mods which didn't change anything.

We're having the same issue. Attached our world (jorajora) here. Right now there's a bunch of mods installed, but it was like this even before that. Whenever we would restart our server (thus loading the save) all ships were undocked again.

Usually we put our batteries on reload. I will test this again with one ship reloading its batteries and another one with powered batteries and report back.

Hello, just in case, I think it's the same problem.

I played the solo campain and meet the same problem in mission 3 when attempting to takeoff (after pression the button the ship is disconnected on one of the "landing gear" or system that go from green to white lights then the ship start shaking and cannot disconnect). I have some sceen shots if needed. I tryed to replay the campain from the start I one run and I met exactly the same problem at the same time.
