Char boots + surfaces = no friction?

Won't Fix

Hi folks!


I have created a rotational platform to build a base on it - cool! The point is: when I start the rotors, everything works fine, except for the fact that the character stays exactly on the same initial position, while the platform is rotating under it. It seems that the boots doesn't have friction to make the character rotate along with it.

Actually it's not a bug. It is the missing feature about rotation. Grids have friction with character but it is only for translational motion. It doesn't work for rotational motion for now.

I hope they will fix this.

Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported? Is it still an issue?

To report a bug to our system it is necessary to have reliable steps to reproduce in order for programmers to fix it.

Hi, actually this feature is already implemented a long time ago. So you can even tag "solved" instead of "won't fix".
