Cargo Ships stop spawning

At first cargo ships spawned.....just 2 of them at the start of the game once I made it to space. Since then there hasn't been another and I was in space for 20 hours. Save File could not be included because although I put it into a zip file which is only is 22bytes it says that the save file cannot be over 2MB which it's not
