cant log in or sync to cloud

Won't Fix

every time ive tried to log in the last couple of days, the game tries to load, and then freezes on me and after a minute closes the application due to being idle for too long or fails cos its trying to connect to a session thats already in session?, it doesnt seem to matter what game it is on steam, i get to around 100 hours of gameplay and the game just stops playing for me, like ive just paid out for a really big demo version thats time limited, im not impressed, seriously not impressed! how about fixing problems before adding new ones like every other game on the market, so many games have got so much more potential and yet you all suck cos you all act the same,, you make a game, suck the fans in, get ya money back, sell it to someone else that dont care a rats ass for the customers only to obtain more money by adding more content breaking the game further! please for the love of god, fix the damn game its been around long enough there shouldnt be any problems like this, severe lag, constant crashing, failure to connect due to trying to connect to a session thats already in progress then kicks me fix the game or give me my money back for the game and the 4 dlc ive bought that now feel like a waste of time cos i cant log in since i bought the dlc all files are checked and verified as working, it just wont let me play!!

Thank you for your report. Please provide following information and try these steps:


  • Is your game updated to the latest version (196.018)?
  • Please provide us your log (You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.)
  • Verify integrity of your game files (Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files)
  • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file (You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.)
  • Reinstall VC Redist 2017
  • Update graphic drivers
  • Reinstall the game
  • Make sure your operating system is fully updated
