Cant connect to my friends server
Solved
Im the only person that cant connect to my friends server. i have been on several calls with my ISP and they keep telling me its not their fault. i was able to connect via USB tether to my phone but as you can see at the end of that log on my normal home network i click connect nothing happens

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Is this happening specifically on this server only? Are you able to join any others without having to tether your phone? I can see the server is using a fair number of mods and there is a line of a single mod error New lighting | Pertam although may not be related but has caused an error. What sort of speeds are you getting? Is the speed of your tethered internet a lot faster? If you are needing to download a number of mods, this can sometimes take a while. What happens from your side when you cannot connect? Do you get any form of error?

Could LoD Sluggy please try connecting via the 'Direct connect' button and see if this makes a difference at all?
Could you also please check your firewall configuration?
I would also suggest that you join our Discord channel if you haven't already and make your way to the 'help for community servers' others may have had similar issues and be able to advise you on any steps they have found helped :) https://discord.gg/r7GWmywT
Finally, Dalten, could you please provide a log from when LoD Sluggy tries to connect but fails? :)

yes, this issue persists for the affected player. tested again earlier today.

This ticket can be closed, it was a steam authentication server error at the time.

Not exactly sure what happened but getting old modem router combo unit from ISP that was probably 5 years old replaced with they're current modem and router separately fixed the issue. Do what you will with that information.
