Cannot spawn, cannot log in world

Won't Fix

Hello:

Sometimes when I log in a game, a space backdrop loads and nothing else.

I am just an anchored camera, capable of pivoting through a backdrop of stars and planets, but unable to move, interact with anything and no key bindings work except blueprints screen and the Escape key.

I eschewed the problem for the last few weeks by logging out and logging back in. It would resolve itself after one or two attempts.

I would say, about 30% of my login attempts would be met with the sky glitch.

Today, I was playing, I died.

Instead of respawning, I became a ghost of sorts, I wasn't in spectator mode but I could move around. No keys worked except Escape, so I logged out to log back in.

Now my last 10 attempts at logging in the server have been met with the sky glitch.

Hello, Alex!

Thank you for your report. Please try following steps:

Verify your game files in Steam (Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files)
Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it (You can access your files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers).
Restart Steam
Reinstall VC Redist 2017
Update graphic drivers
Reinstall the game
Make sure your operating system is fully updated
