Cannot Refill Small H2 Tank

There does not appear to be any way to refill an H2 tank made out of small parts
Large one works fine - many ways this can be refilled
But conveyors do not appear to work at all on small H2 tanks, even when putting an H2/O2 generator and H2 engine (even with powersource such as a reactor) with the tank toggled to "Stockpile" nothing happens.
Separately, the small H2 tanks spawn with 50% fuel which seems a bit odd - this part may be intended, but the first part cannot possibly be.
I recommend you try refilling an H2 tank (made of small parts) and see what happens!

Ah! Sorry to double post but it works intermittently (roughly 20% of the time it works as it should for small pieces)
I just tried removing the H2 engine and putting it back in exactly the same way and position and it suddenly started refilling. nothing else had changed, so this is definitely a bug.
I then repeated my steps, same thing, I had to delete and re-place the block twice that time to get it to work (being sure to put it back in the same way)
If anyone else encounters this - this is a temporary (but rather frustrating) workaroundwhere it was a few times)
