Cannot convert station back to ship

Solved

I am playing on the NA#11 Server. I landed my ship on Mars. After locking the landing gear I converted it to a station. I dismantled a nearby structure and when I went to convert my ship back to a ship, I got the error message, "Convert to ship is not possible". I dug out the ground under every contact point so my 'station' is hovering, but it is still a station and will not convert back to a ship. How do I fix this?

Note: I do have a small grid ship attached, but that has not had this effect before.

Solution Found. Inverted catwalk hitbox intersecting the ground.
