Cannot change Inventory Focus unless...

You can no longer transfer items into a specific inventory unless you click on an occupied slot; you used to be able to click anywhere ( on an empty slot, within the white border around that block inventory ) in order to highlight a block-inventory, since the latest update you can no longer do that. Why?
Put it back the way it was please and stop trying to optimise the game for console- PC controls ≠ Console controls. You really really must stop making important changes without mentioning them in the patch notes- treating players with contempt will not encourage them to keep playing and spending money on the game.
