Can no longer hack blocks - PCU Limit Reached only when trying to hack
Hi,
I'm having an issue where I am unable to hack blocks. This is a new issue that has only started happening. Its a multiplayer accessible game hosted on my local machine that I created.
When i grind a block down below the functional line on a ship it wont let me repair it back up to full/ I get the PCU Limit Reached message.
This occurs despite the limit on my G bar showing PCU at 158625/199700. The error occurred before that too and when the PCU limit was only 100000.
This occurs even with Ignore PCU Limits ticked in the admin menu
The PCU message does not come out when I try to build a fresh block myself. I am still able to build properly, just not repair these SPRT blocks.
As described a while ago here: PCU Limit reached when repairing with maxed out setting | Space Engineers PC Support (keenswh.com)
Is there anything local I can do to fix this?
Thanks
Hi Folks,
In addition to before, I've attempted to start another save to see if the problem continues - it does not. The problem only occurs on this particular save game I have. In addition whenever I load into that save I immediately get the PCU Limit Reached message simply on logging on.

With further testing we've had the error occur on a new save as well, after we've hacked a lot of blocks we can no longer hack any more.
Attaching new saves as old won't zip below 2mb upload limit

Further digging has found the cause, the Space Pirates faction has a PCU limit of 50000, when we hack a block we gain the ability to manipulate it but since the ownership hasn't changed the PCU values for the stolen ship still belong to the space pirates.
Altering the Sandbox_config.sbc <PiratePCU>60000</PiratePCU> limit immediately fixes the issue until we then get to that new limit. So it seems this is working as designed however it isn't at all clear within game that this it the limit we are hitting.
Is there a way to hack these blocks so that we take on full ownership of the block and thereby take on the PCU limit burden for our faction?
In addition, is there a way to take on ownership of all connected blocks too, as it stands capturing a few pirate ships steals all of their PCU without adding to ours, ultimately disabling the faction from spawning in new units.

Hello!
Thank you very much for providing the save however, I haven't been able to reproduce this.
I would appreciate any additional information, including any possible steps to help me try to reproduce this and/or a video if at all possible.
Thank you for your patience!
