Camera not attached

Solved

Playing on a friends server. He spawned in a ship and it killed both of us. He then respawned no problem but I did not. I (it seemed) was in spectator mode, able to move through objects. Then I pressed "backspace" to respawn but instead of the usual respawn, I appeared somewhere between earth and space, yet no earth visible. I am able to move between atmosphere and space (movement apparent). Logged out of the server and back in; no change. Restarted server; no change. Checked log file for errors; 2019-03-09 15:48:36.651 - Thread: 1 -> Checkpoint.CameraAttachedTo: 0 / 2019-03-09 15:48:36.651 - Thread: 1 -> ERROR: Camera entity from checkpoint does not exists!

Thank you for any assistance

-Update- Second restart of server has fixed the issue.

Will update if it becomes recurring.

Same issue happens for me on DE#9 "as we speak" (player name: Streuwinkel) and to this player on NA#11 apparently:

Suspicious lines from the client log:

Checkpoint.CameraAttachedTo: 0
ERROR: Camera entity from checkpoint does not exists!

RequestRespawn
Warning: Server failed to update game inventory items.
The planets all get initialized and the player is in control of a spectator camera at the center of the universe (inside EarthLike). The player list (F3) is accessible as well as the blueprint menu (F10) and the statistics overlays (Shift+F11), but no HUD is visible, and backspace does not work.

For me the issue started after a server restart and intermittently I was able to spawn next to my med bay with this peculiarity: The grids around me would be in "streaming" state for about 10 minutes. I suspect a connection between that loading time and this bug. Thinking of what could be unusual with my grids: Active projection of a grid showing "only buildable", 8 connected grids, a cockpit LCD with high res image loaded into it.

Update: I got lucky again and spawned. The log messages were the same though, so they aren't indicative of a failed spawn. I'll wait the 10 minutes till the grids load and then remove the LCD image as a first step to reduce load.

P.S. grids didn't load before death to low energy

Also having the same problem on my server. Is there any more information available than what amounts to restart server/relogin until you get lucky?
