Bullets go right through Sabiroids

Just as the title states, when I try to shoot Sabiroids, my rifle rounds go right through it and it kills me. I'm using 1.198.033 no mods in survival mode.

Hello, Michael!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I have been able to kill them without issue in the world I have createdand tested. Would it be possible to please supply your save where this is happening for you? Are you using the MR-20 in this instance? Is it just this weapon alone that is causing the problem for you?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

It seems to be that when Sabiroids appear in certain spots, bullets pass right through them. This seems to happen more often when I'm standing (cowering) on a small grid (not tested large grids). At the same time they won't attempt to chase me, as if they're not really there. If they burrow, reappear in a different location and then begin chasing they can then be shot.

I also just set up an interior turret and found that it won't aim or fire at Sabiroids when they are in this state.

I'm having the same issue. It seems when I'm standing on an elevated position on small/large blocks, my bullets go right through them. I generally have to come down and stand on the ground in order for my bullets to connect, which sucks.

Hi Laura,

This is a save where the issue occurred. It didn't seem to happen until I started building a small block structure to test this on. Bullets passed through both Sabiroids. I have tested by re-loading the save and bullets then hit as normal, sadly.

For more information; I'm using the MR-20. It took a little while to get the setup right (Sabiroids with the pistol is not fun) - I built a tower, the large block grid and then began constructing the small block grid.

Another example; this time on the small grid block I didn't manage to finish last time.

I had to entice the Sabiroids to follow me. One buried then re-appeared - after it did that I was no longer able to shoot it.

Thank you so much for the saves. I can see that this does happen at certain angles. I found hovering above the ground was a way to reproduce it quite often. As it was successfully reproduced, I have reported this internally. I really appreciate the information you provided with this :)
