Buggy & Rover Cockpit Wrong Character Placement
Solved
Currently the Buggy and Rover Cockpits use the Control Seats Character placement causing the Character to cover the Cockpit LCD's and shifting the 1st person camera significantly forward
Edit: Bug appears independent of Mod use
Hello, Jan,
thanks for letting us know about this issue you are experiencing. However, we did not manage to reproduce it. In both cockpits character sits normally (tested even on various planets). Can you please maybe test in once more on completely vanilla world? Meaning starting it without any mods (not with and deleting them later).
If this issue persist for you, we would like to test it on your particular world. Could you send us the save of the affected world?
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
Kind Regards

The screenshots I provided were made in a Vanilla world as I wanted to avoid the situation you describe. It affects all of my worlds as far as I can tell but I will send you just the Vanilla save to exclude mods from the equation.

Hello, Jan,
unfortunately even on your save, my character sits in the cockpits quite comfortably. See my image.
Hence, there are couple of solutions you can try in order to fix it. You can try to Verify integrity of game files through Steam (right click on SE - properties - local files), if this won´t help, you can also try to delete SpaceEngineers.cfg and/or ShaderCache folder from game location.
You can access this folder by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers. All above mentioned files/folders should be located there.
Please let me know if any of there provided solutions will work for you :)
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards
