BUG: Safe Zone White/Blacklist Reset

Settup:

FountainCore PvP Server running Torch

1 Safe Zone with 250 chips

1 large-grid large reactor

Problem:

The Safe Zone block wont allow any long-term change to the white/black list. When trying to set the Safe Zone block to an empty blacklist to allow people to enter and use the store the filter settings change back to whitelist only.

I have the same issue, happens on official server NA #3. Faction shared block, attempting no share see if that has any effect on the bug. But it does reset to whitelist at one point once attempting to clear all lists and setting a blank blacklist filter to allow all visitors.


Tried turning off the safe zone and re-enabling. turning on and off on the block. no effect.

Ok so after fidgeting around with this for a long time.

1. the builder owner has nothing to do with it.

2. faction / solo has nothing to do with it.

3. the first filter set after building it defines the "first filter" - aka reset pattern.

4. fly 5km away from the safe zone, after altering it, and you will see it reverts to the first filter set after building it.


5. any other filter changes done after that point will reset to the first filter if you fly more then 5km away, AND the worst part is, when you do change it and don't fly 5km away. the filter has no damn effect at all, as its still based on the first filter.


short recap:


if you need to change the filter. rebuild the safe zone and set the initial filter to what you want it to be. if you mess up, rebuild it.

It would also seem that when someone with the economy DLC adjusts the exterior looks of the zone force field, a person that does not have the DLC cannot adjust zone sliders anymore. even though the owner of the safe zone block is the person without the DLC.

I have this same bug, although in addition, any changes I make to the filter have no effect at all at any point in time.

This happens reliably and repeatedly to me as well.
