BUG: Cannot Fire Weapons/Use Tools or Aim with Left and Right Triggers with controller on PC.
Won't Fix
I'm using an XBOX Controller with Bluetooth dongle with recently updated drivers. I have Steam Controller Input OFF, and I'm using default game controller settings from SE.
I have tested this in creative and Survival, Story missions, and on Servers.
When going into the menus in the game pad interface (using the joystick clicks), the triggers register and I can flip between menu options. But when walking around with a weapon or tool i cannot use them.
Please Keen, fix your awesome space game that I paid money for.

thanks for letting us know about this issue that you are experiencing.
We already did have few threads/issues regarding controllers in game and for the players worked this workaround/setting (bellow). Can you please try?
1) On your PC, open Control panel, switch to Large Icons
2) Go to Devices and Printers
3) Right click on the gamepad and open 'Game Controller settings'
4) Select the controller and press 'Advanced' button
5) Select 'Controller (Xbox One For Windows)' as preferred device
6) Press 'Ok' button
