Broken Blueprint Menu

Won't Fix

After the new update my workshop items don't show in the blueprint menu at all, no matter how many times i refresh it. And that's not it: after a short while, staying in said menu or trying to reopen it causes a crash. Sorry that i can't hand you any data about it, but there is something seriously wrong considering the previous menu, besides some lag while loading my numerous subscribed items, had no such issues.

Hi, one of the testers here in Keen, try removing the contents of the folder which is located here:

%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints\workshop
In combination with our hotfix it should no longer crash for you, unfortunately until proper fix it will not display thumbnail for the workshop items for you.

Hey man i greatly appreciate the effort and can definitely live without the thumbnails, i imagined that was the problem since by checking the app CPU and RAM usage i saw that after a while since the freeze starts the game overflows the RAM and stresses CPU greatly. Thanks for the help!

Hello again, i tried to apply your temporary fix and nothing changed at all. The menu only shows local blueprints, then it freezes forever and eventually the game overflows and crashes. What's going on, guys? I understand that i'm subscribed to an unreasonable amount of blueprints, but it WORKED before, god damn it! I haven't been playing my game for weeks because of this!

Hi, can you send us a list of your subscribed items? A list of subscribed blueprints in any easily readable format or even just their IDs would do the trick for us to try and reproduce your issue :)Thanks for your cooperation

Are you sure about it? I can find a way, but it's literally thousands of blueprints, so the problem may lie more in the absolute quantity than some specific files. Anyway, sure, I'll figure something out. Thank you for your continued attention.

Hello, Andrea,

as this thread is rather old now, let me firstly ask whether you are still experiencing in current (v197.181) or recent game versions. I have no problems regarding the blueprint menu when tried.

Can you either confirm that you are no longer experiencing this issue, or if you still are, can you describe new behavior, if that changed for you by any means?
