Bouncy Grids / Crashing cause of grafics

Cakehunt3r shared this bug 5 years ago
Won't Fix

While standing on a grid (planet) I am not actually standing. The charakter keep hovering over it gradually getting thrown off the grid.

While using a small drill-ship I was unable to use it normally due to bouncing all over the place. The drills couldnt mine away the soil correctly and mining ironore was close to impossible.

Another note, often my game crashes cause of "grafical issues" but I can run SE on 120FPS...

Also, where is the uranium on planets gone to? I did search in the patchnotes but no note of change there...

Hello, Engineer!

Unfortunately we weren't able to reproduce your desync on static grid issue with our setup. Could you please provide us save file with the world where is this issue happening?

Thank you very much!

Yes, it is a desync problem on dedicated servers. After the update it is really bad.

I have found this bug happen on my server too with our Earth base. You dock a ship to a connector then sometimes, even after unlocking the entire land based grid becomes unstable to walk on.

It looks fine but it acts as if the entire grid is shaking violently when you stand on it meaning you slip and slide, shake and bounce across the entire grid until you slide off of it. Latency is fine and other grids seem ok. Copying and pasting the grid with creative shows the new copy to be ok but that is no solution for Survival and if you have your base where you want it.

Hello, Engineers!

I did not experience anything like this on current game version (v197.180) or in recent past.

As this issue is now rather old, it is possible it got fixed/solved through various updates that happened.

Can you please confirm that this issue is no longer happening?

Thanks in advance for info about current state.

Kind Regards

Hello, Engineers!

Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.

If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards
