Blueprints: Client dc from server.

Shawn Johnson shared this bug 4 years ago
Won't Fix

I am able to make one blueprint before all subsequent blueprints bug out my game and cause me to dc from the server I am playing on when I attempt to weld the first block of the blueprint. Using station welders simply has no effect, but the hand welder will cause the dc.

This has happened two days in a row. Switching to different blueprints causes the same dc.

Also, oddly, whenever I log back in, my suit energy is also bugged. I am losing a point of energy every two seconds while simply standing still on an Earthlike planet. The only way I can make this bug go away is to kill myself and respawn.

Server is: JBGamingNet

I cannot seem to upload any blueprints to the Steam workshop or I would include the blueprint. However, switching to other blueprints will still cause the dc so I do not believe it's tied to the specific blueprint.

Since the client doesn't crash, I do not have a crash report for you.

The server doesn't actually go down, I just dc. I reconnect right away and the server owner says he doesn't see the server go down.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for your report. Do you experience this issue only on this particular server? I couldn't find this server, does it contain any mods? Could you please provide me any blueprint you are unable to upload? In any case, I would recommend you to do following steps:

  • Verify your game files in Steam
    • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file (it means your game configuration will ve deleted)
    • Delete ShaderCache folder
    • Restart Steam
    • Reinstall VC Redist 2017
    • Update graphic drivers
    • Reinstall the game
    • Make sure your operating system is fully updated

Any additional information will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards
