blocks sometimes desync when attached to ground

Solved

Hi,

Just started playing space engineers with a couple of friends on our own dedicated server.

I get a very odd (desync?) issue when playing on the server.

When I place armor blocks to build my base (halfway into the ground to anchor them) I can place maybe 4-5 of them before the issue occurs.

Suddenly the blocks I place are invisible, they can be seen by other players on the server. Additionally, I cannot grind down the blocks I have already placed.

If I reconnect to the server the issue is resolved for a short time before occurring again. A server restart also helped for a little while.

If I play offline, I do not get the issue at all. I joined an offical server and had the same problem so it seems to just be connected to playing multiplayer.

Finally it is ONLY when placing blocks into terrain that a problem occurs. I can still acces all inventories etc. grind down anything else but the blocks I have placed.

Also, if I spawn in space and build with the blocks without having them attached to anything everything also works perfectly fine.

So in short:

Placing blocks into terrain causes some sort of desync issue for me but nobody else on the server.

the issue occurs both on our own dedicated server and on official ones.

the issue does not occur in single-player offline mode.

everything except placing blocks in terrain works without any issues.

Finally I should mention I have an excellent (250Mbps) internet connection and a PC that can run SE on high at consistent FPS.

Please let me know if there's any additional info you need
