Blocks not being the correct block

My issue is that some blocks i try to use are not the right ones. For Example: When i try to place a Small Conveyor Tube (Image is fine) it places a Small Conveyor Block instead. When it comes to 90 degree tubes they are fine and they do what they are supposed to do. I have issues with no other blocks, however i struggle to make small sized ships due to not being able to see which direction the "Tube" is facing, even then the block doesn't work.
Please help :(
