Block selection error with antenna
Reported
This is for 1.197.170. I am doing this without DLC.
Conditions for test: A small set of large blocks and small blocks. I used armor blocks.
Testing:
Select small grid antenna on the small blocks. Move to large blocks and the selection will change to the large block antenna. This is expected.
Select small grid laser antenna on the small blocks. Move to large blocks and the selection will change to the large block _beacon_. This is NOT expected and should be the large grid laser antenna.
Select small grid beacon on the small blocks. Move to large blocks and the selection will change to the large block _dish_. This is NOT expected and should be the large grid beacon.
I think you are misinterpreting me. I mentioned this on Steam and someone was able to duplicate the results. My initial test was on custom start "Empty World" and I tested again on "Earth Easy Start" with the same results. To me, your image of results is off-topic and shows that you misinterpreted me or I said things incorrectly. This is about selecting blocks not placing blocks,
Select the antenna with the + sign, then select small-grid beacon. Now move the cursor to the large grid and the selection will not be the small-grid beacon but the large grid dish. This is incorrect. It should have changed to the large-grid beacon instead of large-grid dish.

Hi, ShadedMJ,
no, I´m pretty sure I get you. But the image was just to demonstrate the outcome of what the blocks changed to (which is correct in my case). There is no way how I could possible demonstrate on all objects at once in single screen that it seems to be working for me. Small grid antenna changed to big grid antenna and so on; even the case you wrote in last comment. Everything seems to change accordingly and correctly.
Maybe I´m doing something wrong. Can I please have the video of this happening, so I can see exactly what you are doing? That would be the best I think :)
Thanks in advance for providing it.
Kind Regards

I will consider making a video, but this is really obvious to me. At no point am I actually placing blocks, so your image is off-topic. This is having my block selection changed incorrecly.
Example. Select the small grid beacon, put the cursor on a large grid and my _selected_block_ changes to the large dish. This is wrong. It should change to the large grid beacon. I selected a beacon and I did not select a dish.
If I have an antenna selected, it will be the small antenna if I am pointing at a small grid and large antenna if I am pointing at a large grid. This is expected.
If I have a beacon selected, it will be the small beacon if I am pointing at a small grid but changes to a dish if I am pointing at a large grid. This is wrong and should be the large-grid beacon.
A different way to say this: I do not have DLC. I cannot put the antenna dish on the toolbar. This is expected and good. I can put an antenna on the toolbar but cannot select dish. This is expected and good. From the toolbar I can select small-grid beacon, point at a large grid and have my selection changed to antenna dish. This is wrong. I still can't place the dish, but I should never be able to have the antenna dish selected.

Hello, ShadedMJ,
thanks for the video! It was great help. I finally manage to successfully reproduce the issue and it was put into our internal system.
