Block rotation acts like it is enabled even when turned off

As title, certain blocks will auto-rotate or reorientate themselves while trying to place them, even when auto-rotation is disabled. Specific example is interior light blocks- depending on how exactly you are facing the grid you wish to place them on ( looking or moving slightly to the left or right ), they will rotate 90 degrees for no reason when trying to place them. This is beyond infuriating when trying to place large numbers of lights one after the other- please fix. Has been ongoing for... 'a long time'.
