Block placement mode is not working properly

Hello
In the new update (the release update) the 'free placement mode' is set to standard when switching blocks, so when i set the mode to 'local-grid', and switching to another block, it goes back to 'free placement mode'. I only want it to be set to 'local-grid' because i dont want to press 'B' 2 times every time i switch blocks.
I dont know if there is a setting for this, and if, let me know. Else fix the bug so it remembers what you set the mode to.
