Block name incrementing resets on wrong grid after grid separation

Create a grid that is large enough to be broken into two grids. Add a control panel. Grind the grid in two, leaving the control panel intact. Add another control panel to each of the resulting grids.

For the grid that does not have the original control panel, the name of the control panel added to it will be incremented (e.g. "Control Panel 2"). This is peculiar, as this grid was arguably broken off the "original" grid and has no need to honor the first control panel.

For the grid that has the original control panel, the block added to it will be named the same as the original block (e.g. two control panels both named "Control Panel"). This is even more peculiar, as it seems the original grid has forgotten that it still has, or ever had, the first control panel.

I am not certain if this occurs when using merge blocks to separate grids.
