Autopilot with collision avoidance out of gravity in space.

Hello, I found out, that autopilot isnt great at all, but if you polish it, it works. But problems start, when trying to direct my autopilot from space to ground, or from ground to space.

The AP (autopilot) wont fly in those 2 conditions while CA (collision avoidance) is turned on. while I turn it off, it goes stright away.

In my experience, using collision avoidance the ship wont move at all, only rotate around.

Collision Avoidance is broken.

Just adding here, this usually has to do with Remote control and placement. it works as a sensor - if you build it as a part of the structure/hull and enclose it then the sensor is blocked and all angles make it rotate endlessly and look for a "safe unblocked path".

Building the remote control at the front, solo maybe even on an extended block it has free line of sight and becomes the first "point of collision" when detecting.

you can actually see this behavior if you auto-pilot to a GPS location, when your ship stop at a GPS location your remote control is the point that stops on the gps mark, not the center of the grid.
