Hello,

could you attach DedicatedServer.log after you see the exception? The file should contain details of the exception. (it is located in \Users\current_user\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers).

Thanks for the log, I will send it for further investigation, at the first look it doesn't contain additional information though. It seems like Steam issue.

What are the symptoms of the issue? Is there any obvious trigger for it?

that issue appears at random, sometimes it appears not for a long time then suddenly it pops up again, but mostly during a connection attempt of a user to the server. i

Since Keen apparently "needs more information," it'd be helpful to know WHAT information they need. I'm having the same issue. We're a home-hosted server on a Windows 10 OS with an i7-4790 CPU 3.60GHZ with a x64-based processor and 12.0GB of RAM. My firewalls are completely disabled, we're port forwarded on THREE separate ports that are 27016 for the local Space Engineers port, 8766 for the Steam port, and 27017 to try and fix this repetitive and annoying issue. We're also running on a server interface called Torch which in my opinion is ten times better than the garbage default one, however I'd like to make it clear that this issue has been happening since BEFORE we started using Torch. Here's the complete server log.

the server app is a mess, i deleted all ME/SE servers, the savegames explode when not playing in space to insane size, till the server fails to load them, that is my way of solving the issue. the game is working, but only for a limited time, so good bye

i was able to get rid of it .

i had to reinstall windows cleen install

that was my onley change to my setup

This has to be one of the most retarded comments I've seen in a while. I'll list the reasons below.

A. You can't just "reinstall Windows." That is the OPERATING SYSTEM of your computer. The ONLY way you can POSSIBLY do something as similar as you suggest is by wiping the computer completely and downgrading or restoring from a backup.

B. People shouldn't have to reinstall their whole fucking OS just to fix some shit like this.

C. This isn't a Windows issue, this is a NETWORK issue, most likely caused by a result of Keen's inability to make stable server code.

D. The overall process of setting up a server after the 2018 Multiplayer Update in August is completely fucked to begin with. Before the update, all you had to do was download and install the client, run it, configure it, and BOOM. You've got a server. Now you have to jump through these flaming hoops of bullshit just to even get it RUNNING. There's all this garbage about static IP's, DNS servers, vague port forwarding instructions, and an overall shitty server interface for when you finally DO get the server configured.

Received socket exception with error code: 10054, ConnectionReset i have recived this as i seen its been going on for 18mths plus so is keen doing any work to fix or do they not care enough to work on there kinks now i mean i know keen are slow at there work but over 18mhts with the same issues is very bad for the people who pay for the game and put keen space engineers on the map to success then the big keen company just lap it up an dont fix issues i get this maybe 3 to 8 times a day sometime i get it 4 or 5 times in a row anyone help me out i would be thankful
