Assemblers not creating steel plates

Brandon shared this bug 3 years ago
Won't Fix

Unfortunately, I was not able to find out why the assembler had stopped working. I'll include logs from the last few days because it began sometime in that time frame.

I initially began producing large quantities of steel plates, interior plates, small steel tubes, and various other materials and sometime between starting the process and roughly 2-7 hours of in-game playtime later they had stopped production and refuse to restart.

I was able to get a little less than 100 steel plates crafted while moving queued items around within the assembler's inventory, but was unsuccessful in replicating this after removing all items from queue.

I've also restarted the PC multiple times as well as game relogs, but the issue persists. Turning the assembler off and on does not resolve the issue. I have footage of the bug and various activities I performed to try to replicate the assembler working after moving items around and trying to get the assembler to function properly if you guys need it.

This latest update has brought many many... many bugs to the game, but most are relevant to performance. Even after turning setting down from high to low, performance has been severely hindered rather than the usual 50-60fps.

Hello!

Thank you for the information and logs. Is it possible to have a copy of your save where this has happened to help me try to reproduce the issue?

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind regards,
