Assembler Production Queue Count Incorrect
Solved
Pure vanilla game 1.198.033 (no mods). Single-player "Offline" mode. Survival.
Reproduction Steps:
1. Submit several of any multiple items (100 steel plates and 100 motors for example) to an assembler.
2. Look at the assembler queue and notice the countdown of the items being produced is counting down much faster than the items are actually being produced. Sometimes it starts counting incorrectly right off the bat and sometimes it starts counting down incorrectly when it starts working on the second stack of items in the queue.
Hello, ParGellen!
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I have just had a look at this and can't seem to reproduce the issue. The furthest out I can make it is the production queue saying 2 over what is in the inventory. How far out are the numbers? For example, when trying 100 steel plates, at 50 it is showing 50 in both boxes which would be correct. Is this something that has only started happening for you recently? Is it possible to provide a video of this happening? I appreciate you saying you're not using any mods so that rules a mod issue out.
Kind Regards

Here is the requested video along with my world settings. This is a Custom Game, Star System, on planet Pertam. The only thing weird that I did was to spawn in a moon rover on the planet at the very beginning to make finding a base location a bit easier. Sometimes moving the order of items around in the production queue or switching between assemble and disassemble triggers the incorrect counting.

Hello, ParGellen!
Thank you for this and the explanation. Is this happening in other saves? Would it be possible to have a copy of the world? Just in case it was something specific that lead to the issue? I'll see if I can replicate it on my machine too :)
Kind Regards

Yes it happens on any save I have.
Here are some very simple reproduction steps that I just tried and it happens almost every time.
1. Start a new Custom Game
2. Select Moon Base
3. Change Assembler Efficiency to Realistic
4. Enter game and turn right then head to the cargo container.
5. Access the control panel and disable all productivity modules.
6. Go to Production tab and ctrl-click 20 steel plates and 20 construction components into the queue.
If it doesn't start counting incorrectly immediately move them back and forth in the queue or switch to Disassembling and back to Assembling. Happens about 80% of the time for me by doing this.
When I set the Assembler Efficiency higher than Realistic in the settings it becomes very hard to reproduce the problem (although I have a couple of times after much fiddling) and it mostly acts as expected.

Here is the save file of the Moon Base I described in my previous comment where the issue is happening.

Hello, ParGellen!
Thank you so much for the steps and also the save. I have managed to reproduce it following the steps and from the save. I can get this to happen on every attempt straight away from the save each time but loading extra items to the queue is a bit hit and miss as you mention. Sometimes there is a delay/hanging and sometimes it will flow nicely. I have reported this and it will be looked into. It is not something I can reproduce without these settings! Thank you again :)
