Assembler consumes ingots even when output is full

Vox Serico shared this bug 4 years ago
Solved

Given a creative world,

an Assembler on a grid with a Small Reactor,

when ordered to produce 10 000 Interior Plates,

and given 10 000 kg Iron Ingots,

will continue to consume Iron Ingots without producing more Interior Plates once its output is filled.

The assembler's production queue continues to diminish along with its resources despite not creating additional products.

I was unable to recreate this bug in an empty survival world, but could reliably do so in a creative world on default settings.

Seems my first reply didn't go through. Trying again.

I have verified the integrity of game files, the game version is 1.196.019, and experimental mode is off.

Started a new custom game, choosing the "Lone Survivor" (creative) with default settings.

Placed a reactor and assembler on a separate grid.

Filled reactor with uranium ingots and assembler with iron ingots and interior plates to save time.

Queued production of interior plates.

Queue ticks down, iron ingots are being consumed, but no new plates are being produced as the assembler is already full.
