Another grid has taken control

When i am piloting a large grid & a player lands on my grid & uses landing gear, the smaller grid takes control of mine THROUGH the landing gear! This is problematic, untill the player leaves thier cockpit or control seat, i cannot regain control of my ship. plz rectify this
