Wheel handbrake/braking force is Calculated incorrectly.
Submitted
If you get a heavy rover with large wheels (>SG5x5) and go down a steep incline try put the handbrake on and it will do essentially nothing, slow you down a little at best.
Hold S and the rover will rapidly slow down.
The maximum force applied from handbrake can be notably lower than braking with power.
My suggestion with the fix would also to be able to make handbrake force moddable as part of the suspension attributes you can edit.
So that modded suspensions with high forces can make sure their handbrake applies correctly etc.
Currently i don't know of a way to mod this behaviour at all.
I have the same bug
Just want to add: OP knows about <PropulsionForce> affecting brake forces too, but it's not a good option because it will of course also increase the acceleration power and that would imbalance them elsewhere. So the suggestion for modding is to split braking power from <PropulsionForce> with a new <BrakingForce> or something. This new node can also default to -1 or null, and if that's the value, it can fall back to using <PropulsionForce>'s value instead, to preserve backwards compatibility.
