Claimed Base Despawns when I get to far away
I've claimed an NPC base (neutral NPC), I spent three Real Life days (about 8 hours a day) modifying the base to make it my own. I added more blocks then it originally had. I built a farm, a garage, a hanger for my flyer, and living quarters in addition to what was already there. Since it had an assembler already I made that room into my production area. I added a refiner, two large cargo's, two large hydro tanks, five O2/H2 gens two batteries in addition to the two that where already there and a seven port algae turret along with a large solar array and a large wind turbine tower.
I've had this happen to me several times now. I thought if I turned off trash clean up it would help, but it did not. I added more blocks then it started with. Set up my farm plots and stored all my stuff in large cargo containers I built. About 28 K away was a trade station where I knew I could buy certain food items. I took my flyer and went to make some purchases and do some acquisitions to get some more money. When I got back to where my base had been all that was left of it was the solar array and algae array that I had added on top of the base - though they were now laying broken on the ground. My custom rover was also there, still attached to the connector that would have been part of the base if it had still been there.
Like others, I did in fact claim the grid and made ME owner of all the blocks. This is a new world after the latest Prosperity update with their latest fixes as of 8-15-2026. This is so frustrating. I've decided there is no point in claiming a grid any more to make my own since as soon as I get more then 25k away from it, it disappears!
