battery drain issue
Investigating
Good day,
Yesterday after the update: i started experiencing issue with power drain on my ship/base on server Keen US#9 [PvE] - Steam://64.20.60.18:27016.
Today when I merge my ship to my solar array base output jumped to roughly 12MW.
after disconnecting and reconnecting this was sorted
Solar array Base only has two refineries and roughly 3MW Solar (may less, but allot) with 3 Algae farms and sorter. my ship is a modified old starter space ship.
now the it happens again like yesterday battery is dead no power stored and output is roughly 17KW with input 894KW on each Battery(5 Batteries) its says recharging but it does not when i disconnect my merge my ship has no power.

I have the same bug
Schalk, did you have any icons left in the production queue of the survival kit or assemblers, while there are missing material requirements for it to cause it to stall? This seems to cause maximum power draw since the prosperity update. See https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/56102-power-draw-for-assembler-with-an-active-production-queue-and-no-material

But in general, to find the cause of this issue, locate where the power is consumed. Turn every consuming block off and see if there is still a difference between battery input and output. Don't only look at power production blocks. In your clip you neglected to search for where the power is going to.
