Acquisition Contract says insufficient quantity when delivering requested amount.

Twice I have encountered the insufficient quantity message when attempting to finish a contract.
The first time is was for nickel ore, I don't remember the quantity as it was about two weeks ago.
Second happened just now, was for 2205 Kg Cobalt Ingots.
Each time I was able to complete the contract if I added 1 Kg extra of the requested item to my inventory.
Each time I was left with 1.00 Kg of the item in inventory once the contract was finished.
I have a suspicion that it is a math rounding decimal error somewhere since both ores and ingots can have decimal quantities.
