Entire ship gets deleted during Salvage recovery mission
I'd flown over 1400KM to get to the location then claimed, partially stripped down and taken complete ownership of the grid before merge blocking it to the side of my ship (modified space starter ship - bigger that it was by quite a bit). I was on the way home and it keeps deleting BOTH ships in flight. I have plenty of power, own all blocks as far as I can tell and am moving so clear up shouldn't be touching it. I can't figure out why everything goes bye bye and leaves me floating in space with literally nothing but what I have in my inventory.
I removed all mods and tried again but the same happened so I know it's not that. It's pretty annoying and game breaking to lose EVERYTHING for trying to salvage a grid from a salvage mission (I merge block on to avoid issues with physics).
I have the same bug
Hello Engineer,
Thank you for writing to us on our PC Support Forum.
We were able to observe the same issue you described. However, when we accepted a new Salvage Contract and we were able to finish it without any issues, and everything worked as expected.
Since this world was originally modded, we'd like to rule out whether the issue could be related to that. Even though the MODs have been removed, it's possible that some mod-related data may still remain in the world save and be affecting the game.
So, if you happen to remember, could you let us know if there were any specific steps or events that occurred before this issue started happening? Any details, even if they seem minor, could help us reproduce the issue on our side in a new vanilla (unmodded) world and determine whether there's an underlying bug.
Kind Regards,
