Uncontrolled Backward Acceleration
Need More Information
So, I launched the game, and every save I went into I was accelerated backwards when I turned my jetpack on, or when I entered a vehicle. I wasn't pressing any keys, and it also happened when a made a new save. Please help me fix this...

Could you please check whether you have a secondary key, such as the left or right mouse button (LMB/RMB), assigned to Backward Acceleration?
You can check this by going to Options > Controls, then selecting Movement from the drop-down menu next to the Defaults button at the top of the screen (please see the attached image).
For example, if you find that LMB/RMB is assigned as the secondary key for Backward Acceleration, when pressing the left mouse button in-game move/fly your character backwards.
If that is the case, you can either remove the secondary binding or assign it to a different key, or alternatively, you can click the Defaults button on the same screen to reset all control settings back to their default values, then check whether the issue still occurs.
