Economy 2: Salvage contract resetting between play sessions.

1) Started new sanbox game after Economy 2 release.

2) This is a modded game, but I don't think the mods should interfere with contracts. (Paint Gun, Improvised Engineering, Build Vision, Build Colors, Grind To Learn, Sneaky Sounds, Welder no eye damage, etc)

3) Accepted 6 salvage contracts in total from two different faction stations on Earthlike. 3 sites on Earthlike, 3 sites on Moon.

4) Retrieved object from first site on Earthlike. Retrieved all three sites on Moon. (Salvaging all four wrecks)

5) Hid the salvage GPS location on Moon and headed back towards Earthlike. Stopping off to claim a Safehouse Station along the route.

6) Saved game and ended session for the day.

7) Started new session following day and all of the hidden salvage GPS location were active again.

8) Took my four retrieval items to the first vendor location. I could only complete the one contract from Earthlike. The two other salvage contracts from Moon said I did not have sufficient items in inventory..

9) Went to second vendor. Same story insufficient items in inventory to complete.

10) Returned to Moon to find that ships and salvage items had respawned.

11) Claimed ships, retrieved items and returned to the first vendor. The contracts were no longer listed in the accepted display and I did not suffer any reputation penalty.

12) Same at second vendor. Moon salvage contract missing from accepted.

13) Went to the two remaining salvage sites for second vendor, retrieved and turned in as normally.

Seems like the salvage contracts 'reset' between sessions. No reputation gained or lost on the reset contracts, a lot of time and resources used in unnecessary travel, but the upside additional salvage of the respawned wrecks.
